We've had these on the tiles by the front door for a month now. We have 3 young kids, and a husband who wears work boots and they have held up at the front door just fine thus far. I got a few extra so when one does lift, I can replace it. I got the 8 x 8 ones. These are NOT like the faux tiles you get at home improvement stores. These are vinyl stickers, just thought I'd clarify because I wasn't sure what I was getting until they were here lol I actually preferred that they were stickers in my case. They won't lift as easily on the floor as there isn't a lot of space for them to catch on. Had they been thicker I'd of tried putting a thin layer of grout between them to hold them together better but luckily I was able to bypass that. I don't mop them I hand clean with a damp cloth. I'm not sure how they'd handle being mopped. As far as application goes these were very forgiving at least on tile. I can't tell you how many times they'd stick and I'd have to pull it back up to rearrange it to get it even. Yet despite that they're still all sticking to the tile right by the front door which is high traffic, a month later. I don't know how long they'll last in the long run but they were perfect for a cheap update that was easy to apply. I suggest getting an extra set if you're able to replace any you may need to replace. These are not tiles or even faux tiles so keep that in mind when considering the long-term of your project. I'd buy these again in a heart beat. May even order another set as back up because I love them so much! ? great for renters too I imagine these would probably come up off tiles pretty easy but not sure about walls and such. Maybe I'll do a test sticker on different surfaces and update ? the green tiles were the before and as you can see they don't go well with gray and red painted walls hence why I used these stickers to get my tiles matching my home better.
