It’s pretty bright. Not as big as I’d like but it works. Made well. Looks expensive. I like that it can be used with USB so no batteries required. It stays on and lights up the place.When I saw these marquee letters, I knew I had to get my letter.Made in China, I was a little surprised when I received my letter. I was picturing a taller letter and made from metal with plastic insert but it is all plastic. The size is 7" tall, so it isn't huge, but I have seen similar or the same versions at the hobby stores that were more expensive. Being all plastic also keeps them super light weight for hanging on the wall. They could even be hung with nano tape or command strips.I like that these can be used with batteries or with the USB cord provided. If you want to plug it into an electrical outlet, you will have to provide your own 110 power adapter for the USB cord. It also comes with an inline connector cord so that you can connect up to 10 letters together without running a bunch of electrical cords or using a ton of batteries. Each letter has an on/off switch as well.Just a note about the battery compartment. It is a bugger to get open! It took me quite a while to get it open so it is really stiff. I plan to run it on electrical power in my she-shed on the mantel. The light is bright enough that it can function as a pretty good light when watching TV or relaxing--even a night light.This would be great to spell out Merry Christmas, Holly or any other words on the mantel or across the wall above a doorway or hanging from the garland on the staircase. Put your initial on a wreath. So many ways to use these cuties!This would be a great gift to give either the first or last initial or the whole name of people like me who can never find their actual name.I like them! Just remember that they are 7" tall and all plastic which keeps them super light. Recommend.Got this to use for the photography session that we do in the home for our infant baby and am overall satisfied with it. It lits well, however not the best build quality you should expect. I would recommend it as it is reasonably priced.My 2 cents below:Pros:- It lits well and is bright enough- Not very big in size but it is good enough for some photography needs. Can be used as a permanent decor unit as well. I can see multiple uses of these letters light- Can be powered using AA batteries or other power sources using the USB cable provided in the package- Has ON/OFF button as well on the back- Can be standing or hang on hooks- Link line cable is included in the package in case you want to attach another letter next to it- Very reasonably pricedCons:- Build quality is not very good- There were scratches all over on the backside of the product. Not sure if I got used unit (However I doubt as the product was wrapped sealed in plastic)I got this letter for my bar cart. I like the style of it. You can either turn it on through wall outlet or it also takes batteries. I chose batteries as it is easier to move around for my bar cart.Bright light and love how u can hook additional ones up to it also
